Fans of popstar Selena Gomez may have to wait a little longer for them to see their idol on stage again. The 24-year-old actress is reportedly on hiatus right now, as she entered rehab to deal with her health-related problems.

Furthermore, reports are claiming that this has something to do with the singer's ex-lover, Justin Bieber, whom Gomez have had rant exchanges on social media in previous months.

Now, the "Sorry" singer is being blamed for the actress' condition, which include her lupus disease, depression and anxiety issues.

It all started when Gomez cancelled the rest of her "Revival" tour in August, which left many fans wondering about her status and condition. Weeks later, reports have circulated that she was taking some time off to focus on her health.

According to Radar Online, Gomez reportedly checked into a rehab program on the East Coast last September to deal with health-related issues. She was accordingly checked in a Christian-based facility where she is supposed to stay for quite some time.

A source from Life & Style  said, "Gomez is blaming Justin for her breakdown."

Additionally, Gomez has also mentioned that this year was one of the worst years in her life, and fans immediately assume that her on-again, off-again relationship with Bieber before has something to do with her condition.

When Bieber posted photos of him with Lionel Richie's daughter, Sofia Richie, getting comfortable around each other, Gomez has decided to rant out on Bieber's post, which started an Instagram battle with the two former lovers.

According to a report from Inquisitr, what happened was 'really hard for Gomez.' It reportedly took her to a downward spiral the moment she saw the pictures of Bieber's newest beau at that moment.

Additionally, from the aforementioned source, Gomez's rehab will include intense therapy sessions. She is probably staying there for more than two months.

Both Gomez and Bieber have not released an official statement about the issue yet. Meanwhile, the singer-actress is presently suffering an illness that the fans hope she could get over with soon.
