iPhone 7 or Galaxy S7? Apple or Samsung?
Unsurprisingly, most people are only torn between these two smartphones/ brands when choosing to buy a new smartphone.
It is for a fact that Apple and Samsung hold the biggest market share in the smartphone industry. Consequently, the two tech giants' flagship smartphones have always been pitted against each other.
In the battle for the best flagship smartphone, iPhone 7 goes head-to-head with Galaxy S7.
So which flagship smartphone is really worth every cent, which is a greater buy?
In terms of display and hardware, Trusted Reviews report that the iPhone 7 has really upped its game in terms of speed but lacks in the battery department.
iPhone 7 has its usual 4.7 inch 1,334 x 750 Retina HD display. Apple's flagship phone also is powered by quad-core A10 Fusion processor with 2GB RAM.
The Galaxy S7 has a very rich 5.1 inch 1,440 x 2,560 AMOLED display. Samsung's flagship smartphone is powered by 2.3 Hz octa-core Exynos 8890 processor (UK) or quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM.
The 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage is also expandable with a microSD (up to 256 GB).
Both smartphones are water-resistant but on different levels.
iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 are IP68 and IP67 certified, respectively. This means that the Galaxy S7 can actually survive immersion in water while the latter cannot.
In terms of design, iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 are both very appealing.
Although, it should be noted that the iPhone 7 does not have any striking difference with its predecessor, iPhone 6S.
iPhone 7 is available in Jet Black, Matte Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Silver and only weighs 138 g.
The Galaxy S7, on the other hand, is very classy with glass on its front and back and metal frame on the edges. Though, aesthetically, the glass is a sure winner, it also makes Galaxy S7 very fragile and prone to cracks.
Galaxy S7 is available in Pink Gold, Gold Silver, White and Black and only weighs 152 g.
There is no big difference in the 12 MP rear camera comparison but overall, the Galaxy S7 has more appealing technology than the iPhone 7. Additionally, the price of Apple iPhone 7 is really greater than Samsung Galaxy S7.
