This week's episode of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" ended with high ratings, despite featuring sad news for prince Lee Yeong and Ra-On. Meanwhile Park Bo-Gum prepared a surprise for viewers in the next episode of the drama.
One particular scene in the Episode 14 in "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" Episode 14 is recorded to hit the highest rating with 21.7 percent in the Nielsen Korea according to Soompi. The entire Episode 14 hits another high rating with 17.5 percent in the TnMS and 18.7 in the Nielsen Korea. The aforementioned scene is the ending scene which brought uncertainty to the future of prince Lee Young and Ra-On.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" Episode 14 began with Ra-On's mother tells her about the truth regarding her father, the infamous rebel leader Hong Gyong-Nae. Following his failed rebellion against the king, the kingdom murdered thousands of peasants, and Ra-On understand why she had to be dressed as a boy to conceal her true identity.
Consequently, friendship between prince Lee Young and his trusted bodyguard Byung-Yeon is in question as revealed by the KBS in the drama, which is also known by its other title "Love in the Moonlight." Byung-Yeon is a member of rebel group, and his entire family was brutally murdered by the kingdom.
After knowing the truth about her identity, Ra-On tried to distance herself from the prince but she could not lie to her heart, and neither could the prince Lee Young. Meanwhile the political tension is brewing after the captured assasin were interrogated and told there was a daughter of rebel leader in the palace. Prime Minister Kim then killed the assassin to hide the truth that two ministers from his clan is behind the assasination attempt of the crown prince.
Ra-On escaped the palace and live with her mother, while in the palace the troops were deployed to find the daughter of rebel leader Gyong-Nae. The final scene brought question about the future of the relationship between the crown prince and Hong Ra-On.
Meanwhile, Park has finished preparing his surprise gift for viewers of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," as reported by Osen per Korean news portal Naver. The lead actor will showcase his singing ability to sing one OST for the drama. Park has finished recording the OST which will be played in the next episode.
