As many people have found out the true identity of Ra-On, political intrigue begins to escalate in the palace. Rebel group hopes Ra-On will take the helm of rebellion against the king and Yi's family who ruled the Joseon Kingdom, while Prince Lee Yeong's love for her is strong and so is hers.

Episode 12 has fulfilled its promise to provide a surprising twist, KBS has reported. Prince Lee Young and his teacher Dasan arranged a reunion between Ra-On and her mother in the last episode of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds." 

After they went back to the palace later that night, a band of intruders attacked the prince's quarter and held Ra-On at a knifepoint. His childhood friend, Yoon-Sung, the grandson of the prime minister, jumped in and they fought them off, but prince Lee Young's back was cut by the intruder's sword.

In the previous episode, prince Lee Yeong's trusted man and personal bodyguard Byung-Yeon, who is also a member of the rebel group had a confusion about where he should stand. He came to rebel leader, Head Eunuch Han and asked him regarding his motivation to hide his identity.

Head Eunuch Han answered subtly that he never doubted Byung-Yeon, because he knows very well about the incident that wipe his entire family. Byung-Yeon's confusion of whether to take rebel side or to take the palace side provide a new exciting twist in the next episode of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."

The drama, which is also known as "Love in the Moonlight," has gained a big rating in Korea and internationally. According to last week rating from Nielsen Korea, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" Episode 12 took number 2 spot in Tuesday, with a rating of 20.7% - just 4% below another KBS drama "Strange Family."

While in Tnms rating, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" has taken 18.6% rating and placed fourth, below two KBS dramas "Strange Family," "Secret of Women" and KBS News 9.

Catch the Episode 13 and 14 of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" on KBS2 this Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. KST (GMT+9). International fans can also tune in the drama on KBS World TV every Tuesday and Wednesday.
