"Descendants of the Sun" actor Song Joong-Ki will appear in the new drama from JTBC TV titled "Man to Man." Park Hae-Jin will star in the drama as an NIS agent and bodyguard of a Hallyu star.

"Man to Man" is written by co-writer of "Descendants of the Sun" Kim Won-Suk and directed by Lee Chang-Min. Other cast members are Park Sung-Woong, Kim Min-Jung and veteran top actor Jang Hyun-Sung. Confirmation about Song's appearance in the drama was first revealed by KPop Herald.

Song will play the role as an assistant director of a TV station in a short but impactful scene. The drama will start filming in November as reported by allkpop.

Meanwhile, "Man to Man" tells the story of an actor and Hallyu star Yeo Woon-Kwang (Sung-Woong) and his bodyguard, a former member of special force unit Kim Sul-Woo (Hae-Jin). Both of them are entangled in a web of unexpected circumstance that requires Sul-Woo to fully utilize his combat and military skills .

As reported by Korean news outlet IS+, the bodyguard Sul-Woo is a mysterious man with a high skill in martial arts. He is also an agent in the National Intelligence Service. Further details about the drama has not been disclosed.

Hae-Jin's latest work is in the tvN drama which was adapted from a very popular webtoon "Cheese In The Trap." It gained a lot of controversy from the fans of the webtoon because the screenwriter and director made a variation from its original story.

Hae-Jin was once saying that he is not too satisfied with the drama "Cheese in the Trap." However, the drama will be made into a motion picture in a joint production between Korea and China. Hae-Jin will reprise his role in "Cheese in the Trap" the movie.

JTBC scheduled the drama "Man to Man" to air in 2017 with a special appearance from Song Joong-Ki.
