"Batman: Arkham Origins" teased fans on New Year's Eve with an announcement of a new DLC coming in 2014.

Gotham is prepping for the "Wayne Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Awards", but the City might be in for some icy weather this year. "Arkham Origins" official Facebook page released an image of "Wayne Foundation Humanitarian of the Year" award. (Above photo)

"The imagery strongly hints that this new story DLC will center on longtime Batman villain Mr. Freeze. Batman: Arkham City players may remember that Mr. Freeze, originally scientist Dr. Victor Fries, put his wife Nora into a cryogenic slumber in order to cure her of a fatal disease," IGN reports. "Could the figure be Nora holding up Freeze's ice-cold heart? And if so, will this DLC depict the tragic beginnings of Batman's frosty foe?"

"Arkham Origins" fans commented on the game's Facebook post. Some were pleased with the announcement hinting at a possible Mr. Freeze:

"I'm all for it. Keep the content coming. I love this game, my favorite out of the series. Now if Robin is in this DLC as well then I'm sold... If not... In still sold!" one Facebook user wrote, referring to the "Mr. Freeze" DLC.

Other gamers were not pleased with the announcement, considering the multiple reports of "Arkham Origins" glitches since the title's release:

"How about fixing the bloody game first?" one Facebook commenter wrote.

"Please give Rocksteady back the 'Batman Arkham' series, Montreal you did your best but Rocksteady knows what they are doing," another added.

Fans added to the Facebook thread that they also wish to see Robin (or Nightwing) make an appearance on the series alongside the Caped Crusader.
