Mark your calendars "Star Wars Episode 7" fans, as one of the late Roger Ebert's correspondents has revealed a possible start date for film production.

Film critic Ali Arikan posted on Twitter on Dec. 31, 2013, the upcoming "Star Wars" installment will being filming on April 22.

The tweet may not provide a ton of information, but it marks the first official story for the 2014 "Star Wars" rumor mills.

Arikan is not the only one posting about "Star Wars Episode 7" on Twitter. Actor Dominic Monaghan joked about begging "Star Wars" director J.J. Abrams for a role in the film. Monaghan and Abrams worked on the show "Lost".

'The total number of phone calls @DomsWildThings has made to JJ pleading for a part in #StarWarsVII - it's less than 4000," Monaghan tweeted.

By now, Abrams must be used to ridiculous casting rumors and requests. In the beginning of December 2013, comedians Amy Poehler and Tina Fey took over Entertainment Weekly as guest editors, which t he funny women discussed their "roles" as The Vader Moms in "Star Wars Episode 7".

"He has two horrible mothers. We know a lot of father stuff with Star Wars, and not a lot of mother stuff. We play these really naggy mothers of Darth Vader," Poehler told EW.

"I feel like the theme of the next Star Wars is going to be: How does a working mother juggle it all? I'm looking forward to that," Poehler added. "What I like about all these giant superhero movies is that they speak to the issues that I'm dealing with right now - working mother and time management and how to be an interesting, sexual, curious woman in your 40s. That's the kind of stuff that I like to see on the screen, and that's what I see with a lot of the films out today."

Abrams responded to Poehler and Fey's "casting" news in an email to EW:

"The exciting thing about having Amy and Tina play the Vader Moms, as we're calling them, is that they bring to the film that pitch-perfect Star Wars energy fans are clamoring for."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
