NCIS: Los Angeles premiered on September 29 with the unit losing two valuable members, Hetty resigned after the team's failure to locate the mole while Kensi is severely injured from a mission that has gone array in Syria.

Following the earlier revelations of rapper LL Cook J who portrays Agent Sam Hanna that NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8might bid goodbye to one of the casts, viewers are starting to worry that this cast might be Kensi as she battles for her life at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit.

LL Cool J (Agents Sam Hanna) teased the fans in an interview with Entertainment Online, asked about possible hashtags for the new season, he offered "#Somebody's got to die. #Somebody's got to go, you know? #Changes. #You need to watch."

Do you think Kensi will live for another episode? As per the report of Breathe Cast, showrunner Scott Gemmill revealed that viewers will not see Kensi's recovery sooner. He further teased that Kensi will be out of commission for "potentially forever," or for an extended period pf time at the very least. This means that Kensi might be out in the upcoming episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8.

Reports state that Kensi's absence is to accommodate actress Daniela Ruah's pregnancy. The actress recently revealed that she is on maternity leave. As such, it will take a long time before she can reprise her role and this lead for the creators to made some significant changes in the storyline of NCIS: Los Angeles.

Gemmill further offered, "The remaining members of our team sort of have to step up. So we'll see some different partnerships. We'll have some people perhaps brought in, new people to work with."

Meanwhile, fans should still expect action from the Los Angeles unit even after losing two members. A synopsis of the next episode of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 revealed that the team will investigate an abduction case even without Hetty who is being held in D.C. and Kensi who is still in a coma.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8  third episode airs October 2, 8pm on CBS. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
