Angelina Jolie's split with Brad Pitt is taken to a further level concerning their six kids. Since the couple has given first priority to their kids, their next issue regarding their divorce now boils down to custody over them.

The "Fight Club" actor isn't ready to give up and will surely tussle with his ex-wife for a full joint custody. As stated by TMZ, there is no way Angelina will gain the entire physical custody she needs.

It's now clear as day that Jolie's decision to ended her marriage with Pitt stems largely from her desire to protect their children's well-being. The actress also stated that she's not happy with her ex-husband's parenting methods, more so dealing with his anger issues that will certainly put their kids in trouble.

With the legal documents filed on September 19, Jolie only wants to give Pitt visiting rights to his children - a scenario that's like straight out of their hit movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." Pitt, however, isn't going to give up in pushing for joint physical custody, as he did mention that he doesn't doubt in his ability to co-parent their kids with Jolie - even calling her a "great mother," as per The Daily Caller.

It seems that the couple have gotten along together for quite a while despite ideas of divorce lingering about prior to their split becoming official. This isn't the first divorce for either of them - Jolie previously divorced from both Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, while Pitt left Jenifer Aniston for the "Maleficent" star in 2005.

With the dispute between the pair ongoing, privacy surely serves them with great value for now. Pitt released a statement exclusively to People: "I am very saddened by [the divorce], but what matters most now is the well being of our kids". He also asked the press to give him and Jolie the space they require as they go through these tough times.
