Google has already hinted us that it will be launching new smartphones on its event on October 4. However, no one is really surprised as there have been numerous leaks already regarding Google's new flagship smartphones.

A reliable source of leaked smartphone specifications is Primate Lab. And just recently, Geekbench benchmarked a smartphone again, simply named "Google Pixel". Notably, the motherboard is also named "Marlin".

Geekbench measures the hardware of smartphones or desktops to give you a clearer view of their power and capabilities. So you will know how well they can perform under real world circumstances.

Based on the benchmarked System Information, the Google Pixel already has Android 7.1 Nougat as its operating system. The smartphone is also running on Qualcomm quad-core 1.6 GHz processor with 4GB RAM.

The smartphone scored 1659 and 3951 on the single and multi-core test, respectively.

This Google Pixel with motherboard codenamed as Marlin may be the Pixel XL which Google will be launching in its October 4 event. Pixel XL is said to have a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with 3450 mAh battery.

The smaller version of the Pixel XL, the Pixel X is codenamed as Google Sailfish.

Google Sailfish has already been benchmarked last month by Antutu and GFX. The benchmark revealed that the smartphone will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 chipset. The Google Sailfish or Pixel X is also said to have an 11 MP rear camera and a 7 MP front camera.

Both Pixel XL and X is reported to have Quick Charge 3.0 Support, USB Type-C Portal and will be built by HTC.

Google is also believed to drop the Nexus brand and use its own, as suggested by the video teaser and website released for the Google event on October 4.

However, these all remain speculations and to know which are which, we have to wait for the official unveiling of Google on October 4.
