Season 8 of "The Vampire Diaries" will be a classic down memory lane and fans can't just wait for its return on TV. As viewers are also desperate to see the return of Elena Gilbert played by Nina Dobrev, this final season will likewise show just how Damon have gotten dark with Enzo.

The season will bring the series full circle and will pay homage to the series' first season, as noted in Parent Herald. It has been also revealed that each episode title of Season 8 will be taken from lines of Season 1. With this, the first season will be tiled, "Hello Brother."

It can be recalled that Damon started off the series as a villain, and fans could not just handle the anticipation of seeing him again on his old tricks as the typical Dark Damon. There were photos that have surfaced that showed how dark Damon and Enzo have gotten, more so that they are being controlled by the vault monster.

The photos revealed that Damon is really back in his old trick of playing dead in the middle of the road just to get the attention of unsuspecting souls from approaching cars to stop and see what is happening. But this time, Damon and Enzo were seen lying on the ground.

Another revelation in the plot of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 also showed that the dark duo encountered couple and a police car which stopped on the same road.

However, Stefan, Enzo's brother was also seen on the very crime scene which could also indicate that he is already somewhat close to searching for his brother, Enzo.

The couple they have encountered were seen in Enzo's and Damon's meat-locker lair, where several bodies were discovered being hanged form the ceiling. At first, the woman was confronting Damon, but Enzo suddenly turned her into a meal.

Another photo also shows Caroline and Alaric. The photos showed that things aren't going good between the two as they are not looking eye-to-eye. Moreover, it has been also revealed byMelty TV that there will be less magic this season.

Fans can witness how dark Dam on and Enzo have become when "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 premieres on Oct.21.
