Dobrev will rejoin the Season 8 of "Vampire Diaries".

The rumor first appeared after Reed was reported to become very jealous of Dobrev, forcing her to leave the series in Season 7

Following her departure, Dobrev had disagreement with Somerhalder.

Afterward the Bulgarian model-turned-actress was signed as guest judge for "Project Runway" Season 15. She joined host Heidi Klum, Marie Claire's Nina Garcia and designer Zac Posen.

"Vampire Diaries" Season 8 producer decided to invite Debrov to rejoin the cast as main character, as reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Dobrev accepted the offer as she is accordingly ready to bury the hatchet.

 She posted picture in her Instagram account with the caption, "I'm a wannabe world changer, a frequent smiler, an avid forgiver and a full-fledged compassion giver."

Following her return to the series, rumor about Reed and Somerhalder divorce re-emerge. The couple remained silent on the issue.

Instead they display their excessive PDA in their social media account as reported by Movie News Guide.

His co-star in "The Vampire Diaries" also took to social media in supporting the couple according to Morning News.

Matt Davis, who plays the vampire hunter Alaric, captured the picture of them kissing and captioned, "An inspiration, a goal, a reality. I love you guys."

Somerhalder and Reed married in Malibu on April 26 last year, after their engagement in February.

Reed, 28, is a multi-talented singer-songwriter. She gained popularity since she starred in "Twilight Saga" as vampire Rosalie Hale.

Somerhalder, 37, is known for playing in the drama "Lost" before he played vampire Damon Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" since Season 1.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is slated to premiere at The CW network on Oct. 21.
