Now that Sony and Marvel have collaborated to create the next Spider-Man reboot, moviegoers are eagerly anticipating to see what this movie will bring them in terms of its storyline. Will the new movie be more successful than that other Spider Man movies.

There is already so much speculation in "Spider Man Homecoming" that included the major character. Now, a new villain has just been revealed with the much awaited release date of the movie.

Last year, it was officially announced that Tom Holland will be casted as Peter Parker after he also appeared as Spider Man in "Captain America: Civil War". The selection came from a lengthy process until the actor won the part over the likes of Asa Butterfield, Liam James, Natt Wolff, and other prominent young stars.

Variety also reported that Aunt May will be portrayed by Marisa Tomei, although Sony and Marvel have yet to give confirmation on this report. Then in March, Zendaya was also casted as "Michelle" which some have rumored could be a reference to a criminal defense lawyer and also Peter Parker roommate.

However, Wrap gave another report that Zendaya will be playing the iconic character of Mary Jane, Peter Parker's love interest.

Another update regarding "Spider Man: Homecoming" is that Bokeem Woodbine will be part of the movie's casts but his role remains a mystery as per Hollywood Reporter. Not until a photo surfaced that reveals Mr. Woodbine is playing a minor villain, described as the vibratory-powered Shocker.

But if fans are bothered if this new Spidey movie is looking like a case of "jam-packed villains", well they have nothing to worry about. Maybe Shocker will just be there to test how far Spidey's power could go. It is also noted that it is not necessary that all villains need a major arc.

Moreover, it was originally announced that the latest installment of Spider Man will be released on July 28, 2017. But this was later changed when an official confirmation disclosed that the movie will hit cinemas on July 7, 2017.
