According to recent reports, Long Marshall-Green will take up the role of additional villain in the upcoming "Spiderman: Homecoming." The first time Keaton's role in the upcoming Spiderman movie was reported by Variety in April this year.

When Robert Downey Jr was confirmed to reprise his role as Iron Man/Tony Stark, the Michael Keaton deal hit a rough patch. Since Marvel and Sony couldn't afford a movie with two high paying actors, it seemed like only one of the two will make into the movie. However, according to an insider, once Downey's deal was closed, the studios managed to seal the deal with Keaton as well.

Even though the reports come from an unclaimed source, there is news that Spiderman's main nemesis in the film will be The Vulture. Meanwhile, there are also reports that Keaton's Vulture will be supported by The Tinkerer. The latter will help former build a suit from the remaining Chitauri technology, featured in "The Avengers," Battle of New York 2012. Thus, it is safe to assume that Marshall-Green could be the techie who helps The Vulture accomplish his evil activities. However, it is important to note that these are mere speculations until confirmed officially by Sony and Marvel studios.

The fact that Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spiderman was ascertained in "Captain America: Civil War." His character was recruited by Iron Man/Tony Stark to fight in his team against Steve Rogers/Captain America. Another famous actor to join the "Spiderman: Homecoming" cast is actor Donald Glover of "Silicon Valley" and "Community" fame.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be released in theaters on July 7, 2017. Jon Watts is directing the movie from a script penned by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
