On Sep. 2, Samsung released an official statement acknowledging the global incidents of exploding Galaxy Note 7 and informing customers of its global recall program in weeks time.

The South Korean tech giant also urged Note 7 owners to contact the Samsung support in their region as soon as possible. However, the online tool which Samsung promised to provide for easier checking is no longer available after its short release to the public.

With the continuous recall of Galaxy Note 7 happening worldwide, it is safe to say that Samsung is already feeling the adverse effects of the incident and it is hurting the company, big time.

According to Bloomberg, Samsung Electronics Company, in just over two days, has already lost $22 billion of market value while stock prices have already dropped by 11 percent (largest drop in two days since 2008).

It was earlier reported that Samsung is only estimating and expecting the Galaxy Note 7 Recall to affect the company by 5 percent decrease in its estimated income for 2016.

Numerically, $1.03 billion out of the $20.6 billion expected income. However, with the recent decline in stocks, recall, customer loss confidence in the product. With continuous banning from aviation authorities, Samsung should expect more adverse effect.

Right now, the only options for Note 7 owners are contacting Samsung support or sellers. Owners may be asked to provide the IMEI number of the Galaxy Note 7 on hand. To get this IMEI number, simply enter in the dialer *#06#, access Settings-About device-Status menu-IMEI tab or checking the Note 7's box.

The new stock of Galaxy Note 7 for new customers will be available in October.
