Big Hero 6 was not only successful in terms of worldwide box-office. It was also very victorious in capturing the hearts of movie-goers. Which is why it is not a surprise if Big Hero 6 fans are demanding and expecting a sequel of the hit animated movie.

Big Hero 6 officially earned $651 million dollars worldwide, making it the highest grossing animated movie when It was released in 2014.

Marvel executive producer and famous cameo movie star Stan Lee announced, in an interview with Toronto Sun, that Marvel will be producing the most awaited sequel of Big Hero 6 after "Doctor Strange" and "Black Panther".

Big Hero 7 is speculated to focus on a returning character from the original movie who we all thought is dead already. Tadashi Hamada (voiced by Daniel Henney) will come back to the sequel as Sunfire. Sunfire is a character from the Big Hero 6 Japanese manga where the movie was tailored and has the power to absorb heat, produce plasma blasts and fly.

From the original movie, Tadashi goes into the burning building to save Professor Robert Callaghan (voiced by James Cromwell). Unfortunately, he 'supposedly' died from the explosion. It is speculated that the explosion that 'supposedly' killed Tadashi did not kill him and instead, turned him to Sunfire.

Towards the end, Big Hero 7 will be about the imminent fight between Sunfire/Tadashi and the Big Hero 6 composed of Hiro Hamada, Baymax and the whole gang.

Baymax will, for a time, also have to choose between Hiro and his original creator, Tadashi.

In the end, Tadashi will eventually come to his senses and remember his brother, Hiro, Baymax and his friends from the university. He will then join the gang of superheroes making then the all-new Big Hero 7.

Big Hero 7 release date is expected on 2018
