The much-anticipated Apple event today is set to imminently launch iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2. Apple fans are hopeful that the new iPad Mini 5 will also be included. As for iPad Air 3, on-lookers may be disappointed because Apple is supposedly taking its time developing this.

That is, if indeed it is being developed since the tech giant just recently launched the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

While it is a fact that it is already two years after the iPad Air 2 was launched (October 2014), the launch and release of it new update may not be looming this 2016. Reportedly, iPad Air 3 Release Date is March 2017, at the earliest.

iPad Air 3, once launched, will be the company's affordable iPad since the iPad Pro 9.7-inch (along with future iPad Pro's) is already king of the iPad line. Given that, iPad Air 3 will most likely still run in A9 or A9X chip since newer and more advanced chips are reserved for the iPad Pro. The device will also run with Apple's newest operating system, iOS 10.

As reported by iTech Post, Apple is developing something more exciting to watch out for in the new iPad Air. The newest iPad Air will come with a more developed and enhanced Aluminum body making the new iPad Air lighter and slimmer. This will most likely be also implemented in other iPad lines but to be launched first in the iPad Air line.

The device will also have a minimum 32 GB internal memory storage.

People can expect iPad Air 3 price to be more expensive if Apple will incorporate the True Tone Display, now only seen in iPad Pro 9.7-inch. Cheaper, however, if it will not.

We can expect more leaks and speculations regarding the iPad Air 3's specifications by the year ends. For now, we can just all hope that it will indeed be launched as early as March next year.
