Eliminating all the rumours about him leaving House of Cards, Micheal Kelly revealed not only that he is already filming for the next season. But he also confirmed that there would be ton of changes to be happening in Season 5

Micheal Kelly, who plays the role of Doug Stamper on the show hinted about what fans can expect on the premiere of Netflix's popular political drama, he mentioned that there would be a lot of radical changes to happen in House of Cards Season 5.

Kelly further revealed that some of these "radical changes" has something to do with the Season 4 scene. Fans can recall that Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, began to lose his health bit by bit, according to International Business Times,  .

There are also other numerous speculations about these said changes on the show. Some said that it is possible that Frank would be betrayed by Doug when he started making the wrong decisions. Others said that Frank's wife Claire, played by Robin Wright, might be found as a better ally for Doug to cling into. 

Moreover, the actor said in his interview with Deadline, "I feel like any big changes that have happened on the show, it's always well-warranted or well-deserved, that the audience will get it. They might have to wait longer than on your typical TV show, but they will bring you back."

Kelly also mentioned that he followed Beau Willimon's advice to not emote especially on the show's pilot episode. That  really paid his character a good price as his lack of emotion has been on one of the most striking features of Doug Stamper in the political drama series.

On the other hand, the actor also denied the rumours that his character Doug Stamper would die in House of Cards Season 5. He said that he is glad his character is not yet dead on the show.

In addition to that, the actor also confirmed that he is already typing Episodes 1 and 2 of theHouse of Cards Season 5. He is very eager to see how well viewers and fans would respond to it.
