The successful story of the Girl Meets World seems to be nearing its end. Report has it that Girl Meets World Season 4 might not be happening after all. However, it is assumed that a spinoff might replace the show instead of the renewal for fourth season. Does this mean bidding the fans and Disney channel goodbye?

Despite the fact that Disney has not yet given any confirmation about the show's cancellation as reported by Parent Herald, the fans of the show are hopeful that Girl Meets World Season 4 will still be materialized.

Zap2it reported that there is a possibility of the series being released. However, it might not be under the umbrella of Disney Channel. It is said that the next installment will be produced by Freeform.

The fact is that fans seemed to be "okay" with it as long as they will be able to watch their beloved show. But Freeform has not yet revealed anything either which makes the existence of Girl Meets World Season 4 an undefined matter at the moment.

In addition, when Blanchard was interviewed by SheKnows, she said, "I know as much as you do,We are hoping for a Season 4, obviously, because we want to continue our story. And I feel like it's an important story to tell."

But as of right now, we just finished [filming] Season 3 and we're still waiting on the word. But we do have more episodes coming out this year that air into early 2017, so we're covered for a little bit," Blanchard added.

Reports about the show said that the reason for the possible cancellation of Girl Meets World Season 4 is due to the fact that the show's cast seems to be growing up so fast. Moreover, Disney Channel might no longer be the right platform for them.

One way or another, this somehow confirms the show's transfer to Freeform. These types of issues can be easily settled by moving the show from another network under the Disney family.

Girl Meets World Season 3 Episode 14 entitled Girl Meets The Great Lady of New York will be aired this coming September 16. Stay tuned for more of the show's updates. Catch the new trailer below.
