According to the recent speculations, MacBook Pro 2016 will go through a complete overhaul and come packed with dozens of exciting features. If that is true, it will certainly make the upcoming MacBook the best laptop out there.

One of the most expected new features include Touch ID that was introduced with iPhone 5S and was later included in their iPad lineup as well. However, now the news is that Apple is trying to add that hardware into its upcoming laptop as well. The overall laptop is also expected to be considerably slimmer than its predecessor. Apple is also rumored to add three USB C ports in their new MacBook Pros.

Based on previous speculations that Apple is planning to drop the audio jack from its iPhone 7, it makes sense that the trend will follow into its new MacBook Pro as well. However, for now, it is only anticipated that MacBook pro will have a lightning port. Updates also pointed at Kaby Lake Processors to be under the hood and Intel has also recently confirmed that they are shipping their processors to companies like Apple.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that while some of these upgrades are reasonable, some of them are just blatant rumors. For starters, the much awaited and rumored OLED bar is most likely not happening, if the industry insiders are to be believed.

Moreover, Touch ID is also something that will not probably happen. A recent authentication method introduced by Apple, allowing Apple Watch users to login into their MacBook with their Watch and also enable Apple Pay transactions, makes Touch ID an unnecessary addition.

While Apple's MacBook Pro 2016 will still be a device to look forward to, but it is unlikely for the company to jump the gun and bring in features like LTE, Touch ID and Lighting Connectivity. It would rather build on Apple's history with Pro.
Apple enthusiasts can still expect to see slim design, coupled with new keyboard complete with butterfly mechanism. There will also be more USB C ports and a Force Touch trackpad. The fans can almost be certain about the Kaby Lake Processors and SSD storage. There should be 13 and 15-inch variants available in different colors.
