Thursday proved to be a marvelous day for Marvel fans at San Diego Comic-Con for surprises rolled out in droves. Major updates were unveiled about the superheroes and what they will be up to in the coming times. Netflix made a major announcement about 'Luke Cage' with the cast and showrunner taking centre stage at the panel.

The teaser of the upcoming web television series was launched at the Comic-Con. The one and a half minute (approx) trailer is quite impressive and shows Mike Colter (Luke) fighting the evil guys in a hallway with kickass style. Villains like Cottonmouth (Mahershala Ali), Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard), and Shades (Theo Rossi) also featured in the clip.

'Daredevil' was also confirmed to be returning for a third season (presumably 2017), which means Nelson and Mudrock will have one more year in Hell's Kitchen. Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle) aka The Punisher made a surprise entry at the panel, to the delight of fans and expressed his happiness at the popularity of his character, saying that he knows how much Frank means to fans.

Though the 'Iron Fist' release date was not announced, the trailer was unveiled. Finn Jones introduced the teaser and gave fans a glimpse of Danny's origin story and how he became the hero. Little Danny was seen on a plane with his mother and then the action shifted to snow where he was seen being taken by two men, the mystical denizens of K'un-L'un, where he trains. Finally, he turns into an adult, crashing out of a wall in the New York City as the savior.

Last but not the least, a final clip with all the four Defenders i.e. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist was revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 and it looks like they will team up to take on the baddies in 2017.
