Is Janet Jackson - who will turn 50 years old on May 16 - pregnant with her very first child?

Last month, the singer postponed the second leg of her Unbreakable World Tour in order to focus on her family - and now, it appears that her dreams have come true.

According to insiders, Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana will welcome a baby later this year!

“Janet is healthy and she and Wissam are looking forward to becoming parents,” one source said.

When announcing the postponement of her tour in a video posted online April 6, the youngest member of the famed Jackson family thanked fans for their support and said: “My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”

Jackson and Al Mana, a Qatar-based businessman worth billions, secretly wed in 2012 but didn’t confirm their union until early 2013. “We were married in a quiet, private and beautiful ceremony,” the newlyweds said at the time. “Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.”

The woman behind best-selling albums like “Control,” “Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814” and “The Velvet Rope” has long expressed her desire to have children.

“I would love to have children of our own, but we also would love to adopt,” she said in 2008 while dating record producer Jermaine Dupri. “So, we’ll see what happens. It’ll happen someday.”

And, in a 2009 interview, she stated: “Sure, I’d adopt. And I think that if I’m really supposed to have kids, it will happen, if that’s God’s plan for me.”
