Dakota Johnson got her break in the film industry alongside Jamie Doran in the big screen adaptation of the E.L. James novel "Fifty Shades of Grey." The actress is currently shooting the second film in the expected trilogy, but Johnson (who is the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith) said she still doesn't know what will await her in the future.

The 26-year-old opened up about fame in the cover story of the May issue of Interview magazine.

"I still feel like I don't know what I'm doing," Johnson said. "Like, I'm unsure of what my life will be like. I mean, I have such an obsession with making movies that I probably will always do that. But sometimes my life can feel so suffocating, and then it can feel so massive, like I don't have a handle on it at all, and I don't know where it's going or what I'm going to do.

"Right now, I'm known for making movies. And I wonder if that's it. I don't know. It doesn't feel like it to me," she continued.

Johnson said that while she did come from Hollywood royalty, she grew up having a very normal life, even though many of the kids she grew up with had family in the business.

"I guess. I don't know," Johnson replied when asked if it was a big deal to grow up with famous parents. "The kids that I grew up around... but I never really identified with any of them. I have one friend who I'm very close with, my friend Riley Keough, whose mother is Lisa Marie Presley. But other than that, I don't have very many pals who are... I don't know. I kind of stayed away from it all."

The conversation then turned toward the next two installments of the "Fifty Shades" series, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed," which she said she was shooting back-to-back. When asked if her famous father had seen her perform the various sex scenes that took place in the first film, the actress said, "No! God, no. Thank God." She was, however, quick to add that even though the scenes look real on film, she is not actually performing sex acts.

"We're not having actual sex," she noted. "But I've been simulating sex for seven hours straight right now, and I'm over it."
