The final episodes of last summer's sleeper hit "Mr. Robot" left fans scratching their heads over a handful of mysteries. How did Elliott (Rami Malek) pull off the hack of Evil Corp? Where is Tyrell Wellick (Martin Walstrom) ? What's going to happen between Elliott and Mr. Robot (Christian Slater)? We need answers!

Lucky for us, we don't have to wait indefinitely for those answers to come, as USA Network has finally announced that season two will premiere on July 13. The new episodes will include a handful of new characters, as played by Grace Gummer ("Ricki and the Flash"), Craig Robinson ("Mr. Robinson"), rapper Joey Bada$$ and more.

Creator and showrunner Sam Esmail will direct all 10 episodes of season two. Typically, showrunners don't handle primary writing and directing duties, but Esmail seems up to the challenge, according to Slater.

"I've been blown away by the writers' and Sam's ability to prepare," the actor said in a recent interview. "He's been great about getting us all on the same page. It's a very mysterious show. I think it would be that much more difficult if the actors were in the dark as well."

"I am so very specific in how I want to shoot the show and the visual grammar of how I want to tell the story," Esmail explained. "It's nothing against our directors in the first season, because they were all great to work with. For me, it feels like it would be easier to manage day to day. I'm on the set every day anyway, and I just think it would make the whole show be more efficient."

If season two is anything like the show's first run of episodes, then viewers are are in for a treat.

"Mr. Robot" focuses on Elliott Anderson (Malek), a young cyber-security engineer living in New York who assumes the role of a vigilante hacker by night. He is joined by the mysterious Mr. Robot (Slater) and others known as "fsociety" in an effort to "save the world," according to Elliott.

"Mr. Robot" will return to USA Network for a second season on July 13.
