Congratulations to the star of Netflix's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," Ellie Kemper! The actress revealed Wednesday night on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that she and her husband Michael Koman were expecting their first child together.

"I have big news, I'm pregnant!" Kemper said as she pointed to her baby bump, to which a very excited Fallon exclaimed to her tummy, "Hi baby!"

Kemper and her writer husband, who used to work for Conan O'Brien, dated for a couple of years before they decided to tie the knot in July 2012.

To celebrate the exciting news, Fallon got out a pint of his special Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor, The Tonight Dough. Kemper, who is also known for her roles in "The Office" and "Bridesmaids," was ecstatic to see the treat.

"Anyone who knows me, I love Ben & Jerry's. I'm not just saying this because it's your show - Tonight Dough is my favorite flavor. I've been having a pint every other night," the mom-to-be confessed. "I will probably fall asleep while I eat this because it's like a Pavlovian response...I fall asleep eating it at night."

Kemper revealed to Fallon that it was not easy to keep her growing belly under wraps during the production of season two of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."

"[My pregnancy] didn't really affect filming until the very end. We had a table read, and I saw that my character was supposed to be on a roller coaster," she said. "I was Googling 'pregnant women on roller coasters.' Some women do. Some real thrill seekers. It was still very early on, but I felt like a pregnant lady on a roller coaster is not ideal. So, I had to tell my boss, Tina Fey, maybe you've heard of her. She knows every secret. I told her before I told my mom. You can trust her, and you cannot trust my mom."

Kemper said she still wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret for a little while longer, so she and Fey decided that Kemper would just tell people she had bad back pains to keep her off the roller coaster, but Kemper was not too good at keeping the secret.

"I could not act like I had a back injury. I'm an actress, presumably. Someone would ask what's wrong, and words escaped me, like, 'Oh, I sprained my spine.' I'm a bad liar," she said. "I kept forgetting and doing things someone with a back injury couldn't do. They'd yell 'lunch,' and I'd leap up and cartwheel to catering. You're not supposed to do that."

Season two of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" will be available to stream on Netflix April 15.
