Ellie Kemper debuts her happy-go-lucky title character in the new trailer for the Netflix original series, "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," from "30 Rock" creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

Kimmy and her three cult sisters recently were rescued from an apocalypse cult after moving underground 15 years ago. With a new lease on life, she decides to live in New York City and reclaim her life.

The trailer features Kemper's character stepping out into the world of the 21st century. She takes advantage of her newfound independence by finding an apartment and a job as a nanny on the Upper East Side.

Kimmy loves that she can eat candy for dinner, but still can't figure out why she has a strange aversion to Velcro. Her sweet innocence even allows her to walk by a catcalling construction work without feeling incredibly violated.

"Hey red, you're making me wish I were those jeans," he comments. Naïve Kimmy only replies, "Well I wish I were your yellow hat."

A couple "30 Rock" favorites also make an appearance in the trailer. Jane Krakowski stars as Kimmy's new boss and Tituss Burgess, who recurred on the NBC comedy as D'Fwan, plays Kimmy's new roommate.

Netflix will release the entire first season of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” on March 6.
