Jaime King has been in the spotlight as an actress since the early 2000s and knows a thing or two about looking good. The model, actress, activist and best friend of Taylor Swift is launching her new makeup collection with ColourPop called #Alchemy. The line of products has everything from matte lipsticks to blushes and best of all - everything is completely vegan.

ColourPop is a Southern California-based makeup company that has previously worked with stars like Karrueche Tran and YouTube beauty vlogger KathleenLights. King's #Alchemy collection features 12 different pieces including three eye shadows, two highlighters, two lip products with matching lip liners, a blush and two sculpting sticks. The new line is also not geared towards a single group, but for all races, ages and genders and features high-quality products for a low price.

"Growing up in Omaha, Neb., I didn't have access to fancy makeup and expensive things, nor the money to afford them," King said. "It was exciting if I could get a Wet n Wild eyeliner."

The actress really got into makeup when her mother became a Clinique saleswoman at her local mall when she was young, a moment when she thought she "made it to the big leagues."

"I'll never forget the feeling of twisting open this beautiful, sheer pink lipstick with a little shimmer in this beautiful case - I just felt so glamorous and so happy," King continued. "When I decided I wanted to do a makeup line, I really wanted to give other people that feeling. I wanted them to feel like they got the best of the best, but in a way that they could afford."

In the line, there are two matte lipsticks with matching lip liners in two colors, Polite Society, which is a nude color and the red JujuRouge. Along with the lip products are a highlighter stick called Relevé and a contour stick called New Renaissance. There are also three blush colors (Thames, The Golden Child and Pretty Bonnes) as well as three eye shadows (Vanity Fair, Knight and Alchemy).

Each of the products in the #Alchemy collection was never tested on animals, and can be worn alone or mixed together. The items are now available for purchase.

"I've always been very attracted to alchemy and the idea of what happens when you add this with that, and what it turns into," King said. "Just like human relationships! When you add two people together, or three people together, or four people together, and somehow that fourth person turns the whole room into a different experience."
