Earlier today, Jaime King and her husband Kyle Newman announced the birth of their new baby boy!
This is the second boy for the "Hart of Dixie" actress and Newman, who also have a 20-month-old son James Knight, according to E! News. She shared a photo of the happy family to announce that their new baby was born last week.
"We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy!" she captioned the kind-of-confusing photo. "Born Thursday, July 16th! Xx." Though the photo of the happy family is really adorable, and it's clear that King is breastfeeding the baby, he's actually nowhere to be seen. For someone whose Instagram is filled with photos of James Knight, this came as a surprise to some followers, even though she's probably just waiting for the right moment to reveal her baby.
Newman also took to his Instagram to announce the news, although the newborn was completely missing from that announcement. In the photo, King and James Knight are laying in a hospital bed with excited and surprised looks on their faces. "HE'S ARRIVED! So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world," he wrote. "Born July 16th! Mom & baby are well. Name coming soon."
As for the name of the baby, they know what they'll be naming it, they just have not revealed it yet. They did, however, reveal that they will be referring to their new son by his first and middle name, just as they do for James Knight "I know the first part," King told People. "We just have to decide on the second part. Names are never easy, you don't want something to be too Hollywood and out there."
The baby boy is happy and healthy, but there's one other reason he's already one of the luckiest kids in the world...Taylor Swift is his godmother! Swift and King are good friends, and back in March, Swift shared an Instagram photo revealing that she would be taking on this role. "Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one.....(ME)," she captioned the photo of herself touching King's baby bump.
Congrats to the couple and James Knight on being a big brother!
