Thursday has come around once again, and Nintendo has new digital games that fans can download on various Nintendo consoles and their associated online stores.

As is noted by Nintendo, the offerings update weekly, making new games available on eShop for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds, the Nintendo DSi shop for the Nintendo DSi system and the Wii Shop Channel for the Wii console. The systems feature parental controls, allowing adults to input passcodes and control what content their children can access.

Here is a list of new games, add-ons and discounted ones, according to a press release:

Map Pack 1 content is priced at more than $24 when purchased individually."

Other deals include discounts for the "Resident Evil" series which will last until 8:59 a.m. PST on March 29 and a variety of ATLUS games like "Stella Glow" which will last until 8:59 a.m. PST on April 4.

The notable item on this list is "Hyrule Warriors Legends." The follow-up to the hit Wii U game "Hyrule Warriors," players will be able to control a wide array of characters from the "Legend of Zelda" universe to defeat swarms of enemies. This entry also introduces Linkle (essentially a female-version of Link) who has been the talk among Nintendo fans ever since she was revealed. Developed by Tecmo Koei, the minds behind "Dynasty Warriors," and all of its associated spin-offs, this game, like the rest, aims to please.

One important thing to note about the games added to the 3DS Virtual Console is that they are exclusive to the New 3DS, they are incompatible with the 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS. They are part of a batch of games that will be coming to the 3DS as promised by Nintendo during the Nintendo Direct earlier this month, so if there is time to upgrade to the New 3DS, then this might be it.
