Even as rumors about the eventual end of Wii U continue to circulate, Nintendo is poised to have a strong year. With titles like "Star Fox Zero," "Metroid Prime: Federation Force," and "Legend of Zelda" Wii U, fresh on everyone's minds, the future for the company remains bright even if the future of the Wii U itself is cast into doubt.

Now fans will be able to get a taste of that future this weekend once Nintendo heads to WonderCon 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, taking a collection of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games along for the ride.

The collection of games aims to please, with most of them being available to play on the show floor ahead of their official release dates. The full list of games are:

Wii U
- "Star Fox Zero"

- "Star Fox Guard"

- "Pokkén Tournament"

Nintendo 3DS
- "Hyrule Warriors Legends"

- "Metroid Prime: Federation Force"

"Star Fox Zero," "Star Fox Guard," and "Metroid Prime: Federation Force" are notable among the list because these games aren't available yet. The first two will launch for the Wii U on April 21, while the last will launch later in 2016. Technically, "Hyrule Warriors Legends" isn't out either, but its launch date (March 25) conicides with the first day of the convention.

"WonderCon is a great place to interact with our fans and let them play some of our most anticipated games of the first half of 2016," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "Fans will get to experience Star Fox Zero, Star Fox Guard and Metroid Prime: Federation Force at the show."

The fun doesn't stop there however. On Saturday, March, 26, in room 515A from 6 to 7 p.m., attendees will be able to go to a panel featuring members of Koei Tecmo, the developers behind "Hyrule Warriors Legends." They will discuss creating the game, as well as new characters like Linkle. Earlier in the day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., fans will be able to visit the Nintendo Booth to participate in meet-and-greet with Koei Tecmo developers. Fans can ask questions, get their pictures taken with staff or even get their copy of "Hyrule Warriors Legends" signed.

WonderCon will be located at the Los Angeles Convention on 1201 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, Calif., 90015, running from March 25 to March 27. Badges for the event can be purchased here.
