Lollapalooza released its 2016 lineup and not only is it jam-packed with incredible artists, but the festival will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in a very special way.

The event will take place from July 28 to July 31 in Chicago's Grant Park, making it a four-day festival instead of its usual three in honor of the milestone. The lengthy lineup features acts that all music lovers can enjoy, with everything from classic rock to hip-hop to country to EDM. The festival started out as a rock-only festival, but has expanded over the past 25 years and now has one of the most diverse lineups out there.

Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem and J.Cole will headline the event and major names like Future, Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding, Major Lazer, Disclosure, G-Eazy, The 1975, M83, Jane's Addiction, Hardwell, Flume, A$AP Ferg and Halsey will all also be in attendance. With four days of awesome music, this marks one of the largest bills of any event this year.

"I've immersed myself in this experience for 25 years now, but it's in a constant state of evolution, living and breathing," said creator and founder Perry Farrell. "As long as we always try to find the eye of the hurricane, the epicenter of the music that is truly connecting right now, I think we can go for another 25 years! And we'll do it by always making sure to keep it fresh. Four days this year, over 170 of the best bands, including acts from all over the world as the music community connects globally more than ever; the best sound, staging and lights. We promise the festival will always strive to be the 'lifeblood' of the music scene."

Lollapalooza has become one of the largest music events in the entire world. Tickets officially went on sale this morning, but are quickly selling out.
