Fandoms collided when "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson and "Hamilton the Musical" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda sat down to chat about feminism and sort "Hamilton" characters into Hogwarts houses.

Over the two's hour-long interview, they sat down in part of Watson's UN gender equality campaign HeForShe. The organization is having an Arts Week, a campaign centered around International Women's Day that encourages arts and cultural organizations to get involved in the fight for gender equality. During the interview, Watson asked Miranda to show off some of his legendary freestyle rapping skills, and Miranda obliged, but only if Watson beat-boxed along. The end result was a hilarious rap about gender equality.

"I'm sure they were beatboxing on set during those movies," Miranda told Watson, referencing the "Harry Potter" films. "Every young man tries it."

"Oh yeah, English school kids, that's what we do all the time," Watson replied. "We just beatbox."

Emma Watson, Drop The Beat

And here's a SHORT clip of Emma Watson beatboxing while I freestyle about #HeForShe, if you only have 3 minutes. This was so fun.

Not only did the two beatbox and freestyle about feminist issues, but they also sorted all the characters from "Hamilton" into the four houses of Hogwarts. For her part, Watson came prepared with a list that was fully researched out, even though Miranda's question was spontaneous.

"O.K. because, obviously, I'm Hermione, I had to plan this out," Watson said. "I have it on paper."

Watson started off with all the impressive female characters in "Hamilton" and sorted Eliza Schuyler into Gryffindor and Angelica Schuyler into Ravenclaw. Miranda and Watson agreed on most of the sorting, including the fact that Alexander Hamilton would be in Gryffindor house. During the sorting ceremony, Miranda revealed that Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, came to see "Hamilton," where he asked the actor to sort the characters into Hogwarts houses as well. He then revealed that Radcliffe did not sort Hamilton into Gryffindor, but into Ravenclaw.

"I'm going to have to call him about this," Watson announced.

The two did not have enough time to sort all of the "Hamilton" characters, but she did say that Burr was "obviously" a Slytherin, but there was "a case" to be made for Hufflepuff.

"He could've developed but he didn't," Watson concluded of the Burr character.

Sorting Hamilton into Hogwarts with Emma Watson

I talked to Emma Watson for #HeforShe, but not before sorting Hamilton the Musical characters into Hogwarts houses. Full interview coming up later today!
