Since season 3 of "Inside Amy Schumer" premiered last year, the comedian has made a bigger name for herself thanks to her summer blockbuster hit "Trainwreck." Over the past year Schumer was seen everywhere from award shows to her own HBO standup special directed by Chris Rock. The comedian even became best friends with Jennifer Lawrence and announced her own stand-up comedy tour.

The first promo video for season 4 of Comedy Central's "Inside Amy Schumer" was released on Thursday, and Schumer is "overexposed," according to her doctor.

"Amy, the test came back positive," the doctor said in the promo. "I'm sorry to tell you this, but you've been overexposed...Yes, you're everywhere, magazines, this Instagram photo of you on the subway wearing a poncho, Amy."

Is there a cure for being overexposed? It turns out there is: going away.

"No late-night TV show appearances. No podcasts, and do not go back to your basic cable TV show," the doctor advised her.

The doctor's warnings were just a little too late; Schumer had to "follow her heart" and "keep exposing herself."

The entire idea for the hilarious promo came from one of the "Inside Amy Schumer" writers, Christine Nangle. "She said I couldn't be there because I was being treated for overexposure," Schumer said. "It's hilarious. When it came to market [this season], I was like, let's totally lean in to it."

Filming for the fourth season of the Comedy Central show has already started with guest stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Steve Buscemi and Selena Gomez, Amber Tamblyn and Amber Rose.

"We do touch a little bit on Amy's higher profile - it would be weird not to. After the year she's had? We wanted to acknowledge it." Executive Producer Dan Powell said. "But also make fun of it." We wouldn't have it any other way.

While season 4 of "Inside Amy Schumer" has not premiered yet, the show has already been picked up for season 5 by Comedy Central. "We are so excited to get picked up," Schumer said in a statement about the renewal. "I've gotten picked up many times, but this time feels the best."

Season 4 of "Inside Amy Schumer" premieres April 21 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
