Zayn Malik has released another single off of his highly anticipated upcoming solo album. The former One Direction hunk shared a sexy, R&B dance song titled "BeFoUr," the fourth track off of "Mind of Mine," which is due out later this month.

Malik's solo debut album is set for a March 25 release, and he revealed the album artwork during his appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" last month, featuring a photo of the singer as a child, adorned with full sleeves of tattoos. His late night gig also marked the 23-year-old heartthrob's debut on American TV as a solo artist, and he performed "iT's YoU," another slow jam where he showed off his swoon-worthy pipes.

He announced the release of "BeFoUr" on social media, and fans were quick to point out that the song's title could be a reference to One Direction, since "Four" was the last album he recorded with his former band mates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson before he announced his departure from the group last year.

The lyrics for "BeFoUr" could be interpreted as a jab at his former band, as Malik sings about a dissolving relationship that could be about the falling out he had with his former band mates. "Now, I'm gonna stay in my zone / I'm tired of picking that bone / And I can't be bothered to fight it no more, no," Malik sings in the first verse.

Fans first heard a snippet of "BeFoUr" in a video accompaniment to Malik's cover story in the December 2015/January 2016 issue of Fader magazine, which was his first solo interview since his split from One Direction. An instrumental version of the track was set to various shots in the video. Malik appeared shirtless in one shot, showing off his multiple tattoos. In another shot, he rode a motorbike, dressed in boots, jeans and a black leather jacket.

"Life experiences have just been the influences for the album," Malik told Fader. "Just stuff that I've been through, especially in the last five years with being in a band and everything. It's quite a personal album."
