Afghanistan will take on Zimbabwe in the 9th match of International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2016 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur on Saturday.

The Saturday's T20 is a must-win game for both teams as the winner will advance to the final rounds of World T20.

Zimbabwe registered its second consecutive victory of qualifiers when the team crushed Scotland by 11 runs in Nagpur on Thursday. Batting first, the Hamilton Masakadza-led side made 147 for seven in 20 overs. Sean Williams (53) and Elton Chigumbura (20) top scored for Zimababwean side. Scotland, in reply, was bowled out at 136 in 20th over. Wellington Masakadza took four wickets for Zimbabwe. The loss means an early exist for Scotland from the International Cricket Council Twenty20 World Cup 2016. 

"We played really well, the guys are starting to gel and it's looking positive for us. The boys are believing in themselves more and going out and impressing themselves," Zimbabwean skipper Hamilton Masakadza said.

Afghanistan, which also won its first two qualifying rounds game, is looking to win its third and last qualifying game in order to advance in final rounds of Twenty20 World Cup. The Asghar Stanikzai-led side, which earlier had defeated Scotland in their first qualifying game, thrashed Hong Kong by six wickets to post their second consecutive victory in the tournament. Batting first, Hong Kong was restricted to 166 for six in 20 overs. Afghanistan comfortably chased down the modest target with six wickets and two overs to spare. Afghan pacer Mohammad Nabi (4/20) and batsmen Mohammad Shahzad (41) and Noor Ali Zadran (35) guided their side to an easy victory over Hong Kong.
