The heavenly combination of cinnamon and sugar evokes a feeling of comfort in many. It's a flavor found in malls, with soft pretzels dipped in butter and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. It's found anywhere where fresh donuts are made, dunked in the light brown powder seconds after frying and seconds before being eaten.

There are many ways to indulge in this wonderful flavor at home. First, you can make some pre-mixed cinnamon sugar in a jar to sprinkle on all things sweet, but you can go the extra mile and whip up one of these delightful desserts this week. Whoever is lucky enough to be within snacking range will thank you.

1. Cinnamon Rolls

As classic cinnamony treats, these rolls take no shortcuts but are very straighforward to make. They require a little patience, and yes, it's a yeasted dough, but don't let that scare you off. They're perfect.

2. Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Cupcakes

These cupcakes taste like a cinnamon roll mated with a perfect pound cake. The "swirl" is very easy to achieve- just spoon batter into cupcake molds one tablespoon at a time and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top between scoops.

3. Cinnamon Sugar French Toast Sticks

This is the easiest recipe on our list, and you can be indulging in cinnamony goodness (with maple syrup on the side, please) within 20 minutes.

4. Cinnamon Sugar Shortbread Bars

This excellent shortbread recipe is improved by the cinnamon sugar topping. We can't imagine having plain shortbread after this delicious revelation.

5. Cinnamon Sugar Pecans

The perfect sweet snack or homemade gift, these pecans are crisp, caramelized, and showcase cinnamon sugar in their full glory.

6. Brown Sugar Cinnamon Ice Cream

Eat it out of the tub, put a scoop on top of a pie, or serve it on a cone- this ice cream is creamy, cinnamony, sweet and incredibly delicious. It has cinnamon chips throughout for extra flavor and texture.

7. Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzel Bites

Just like the pretzels at the mall, but significantly easier to make these pretzel bites know what we want. There's no need to spend time flipping and twisting the dough- just roll it, cut it, boil the bites and coat in butter and cinnamon sugar.

8. Nutella-Stuffed Snickerdoodles

These are a real treat and don't require much more effort than regular snickerdoodles. Biting into one of these cinnamon sugar-coated cookies and finding a well of nutella within will make anyone's day.
