Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons are getting animated. The "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." characters will make a special appearance on Disney XD's "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. The Sinister 6" next month.

Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge lend their voices to the cartoon versions of their characters in the March 13 episode titled "Lizards," according to E! News.

FitzSimmons get pulled into the action "when Vulture's revelation that Doc Ock has a spy inside S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy leads the Web Warriors on a hunt to find the mole. When they confront Dr. Curt Connors, he turns himself into The Lizard and attacks S.H.I.E.L.D. with a venomous bite that spreads like a virus and turns its victims into lizards."

Caestecker and Henstridge follow in the footsteps of their leader Clark Gregg, who has voiced his character Phil Coulson on Disney XD's "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man" for multiple episodes.

On "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Fitz and Simmons will be dealing with their romantic relationship when the show returns next month. Simmons is still grieving over Will, who she left on the other planet and was killed by the Inhuman monster that now inhabits Grant Ward's (Brett Dalton) body.

"She's experiencing some survivor's guilt," Henstridge told Entertainment Weekly. "Fitz has been so supportive throughout the whole thing. She's going further down that path with him and her feelings. She loves him and wants to be with him. She hasn't forgotten about Will, but it's more the guilt she's carrying. They're taking things slowly on whether they're going to get together or not."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns on Tuesday, March 8 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
