Violent Femmes appeared as guests on Tuesday night's "The Late Show" and host Stephen Colbert invited them on stage to perform their 1983 hit "Blister in the Sun" ahead of the release of the alt-rock band's upcoming album "We Can Do Anything," according to Entertainment Weekly.

Although the band did not perform on the show, they absolutely nailed it in a web-exclusive video. The exuberant performance had a lot of great moments, but the highlight was when Colbert joined the group on stage, singing along and scatting as percussionist John Sparrow used a barbecue grill as an instrument, according to Time.

Violent Femmes also performed a rendition of the single "Memory" from their upcoming album, which is the band's first album in 15 years, according to Rolling Stone.

With "We Can Do Anything" slated to release on March 4, the band has also announced tours in New Zealand, Australia and North America.
