With Marvel's "Daredevil" set to debut its second season on Netflix next month, much of the promotional campaign has been focused on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle/Punisher. As a fan-favorite from the comics book and season two's biggest obstacle for our protagonist, we can't really blame them for taking this approach. But it has prevented fans from getting a closer look at another well-known character from Daredevil lore: Elodie Yung's Elektra. Apart from a few brief appearances here and there, we haven't seen much of the badass heroine.

Until now.

Netflix has released a second full-length trailer for "Daredevil's" sophomore campaign, and Elektra is front and center. Check it out below.

Elektra and Matt Murdock knew one another back in college, and it appears as if she is well aware of his, err, extracurricular activities. She deems him "the best fighter" she's ever seen and asks for her help in stopping the Yakuza, who have been sitting on the sidelines as Daredevil has been dismantling their competitors. How this storyline will connect with the Punisher is unknown, but it does set up another central arc for season two.

We've known that the Punisher and Elektra would be joining "Daredevil" for a while now, but these trailers have provided a clearer picture on how they interpret justice. Castle is fond of using permanent measures to take down criminals, while Elektra seemingly agrees to Daredevil's no killing rule. Will this put them all odds with one another? It's possible.

"Daredevil" will debuts its second season on Netflix on Friday, March 18.
