Ever since the concept of "Pokemon GO" was revealed to the public, the franchise's fans have been feverishly waiting for any updates to the highly anticipated augmented reality game. Indeed, Nintendo and its partner in the project, Niantic, have been quite secretive about the game, offering only tidbits of information and clues at a time, according to The Express.

However, Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara provided some very accurate, very concrete details on the upcoming game in a recent interview with the Yomiuri Shinbun newspaper in Japan, reported DNA India.

For one, he announced that the game will initially be made available in three regions: Japan, North America and Europe. This means that fans in these regions will be the first to get the chance to experience "Pokemon GO" in real life.

For those living in other regions, however, there is no need to worry, since the game will be released to other parts of Asia, South America, Africa and the Middle East after the initial launch, reported Neuro Gadget.

Of course, the time frame for the release in other regions will most probably vary. Then again, this is "Pokemon GO" we are talking about. When it comes to catching them all in real life, there is no such thing as a wait that is too long. After all, catching them all is always a realistic goal, right?
