Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may be rekindling their romance now that their engagement is back on, but there may already trouble in paradise, as the two are apparently fighting over the decision on whether or not to get a prenup this time around.

The couple is reportedly battling over a $176 million prenup, as the 23-year-old singer wants to protect her assets, sources have told Life & Style, according to OK! Magzine. While Cyrus wants the prenup just in case they break up again, Hemsworth reportedly doesn't think it's necessary.

"They've had heated arguments over this," one source explained. "He's a firm believer that prenups spoil the romance of a marriage and that if they are truly in love, it's not needed...[He] assured Miley that he isn't interested in her fortune and has enough money of his own."

The two got engaged in 2012 after three years of dating before they called things off in September 2013. Just last month, the two spent New Year's in Australia together, and shortly after, Cyrus was seen wearing the same engagement ring he gave her four years ago.

"If Liam doesn't agree to her terms, this could end the engagement," the source added. "And tear them apart for good."

While all this is going on, it looks like Cyrus still has plans to be with the 26-year-old "Hunger Games" actor long-term as she recently purchased a $2.5 million four bedroom home in Malibu to share with him.

"The plan is for Liam to stay there while they reconnect," a source told Us Weekly. "And then move in permanently when he's ready."
