Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been dropping some major hints lately that they could be rekindling their romance, and it looks like the formerly engaged couple is officially back together.

It all started when the two were spotted together in Australia with his family over the New Year's holiday. Then, just a few days later, they were seen kissing and cuddling at a music festival, as HNGN previously reported. As if that wasn't enough to get people talking, Cyrus was seen weeks later unpacking a moving truck outside of his home and wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger that looked very similar to the Neil Lane ring Hemsworth proposed to her with back in May 2012.

Now, sources close to the 23-year-old singer have pretty much confirmed that the engagement is back on!

"Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again," a source told People. "It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months... They just wanted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight while they figured things out. Liam never liked how exposed his life was with Miley."

Apparently, this time around, Cyrus - who has been a wild one lately - is "making changes for their relationship to work," the source added. "They both seem much more mature."

The two have plans to move back in together and figure everything out from there. "Miley wants to get married," continued the source. "His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better when she spent time in Australia a few weeks ago. Everyone seems excited that they are back together."

"Miley and Liam are 100 percent back on," another source told Us Weekly, adding that Hemsworth told some of his friends that they are engaged again. "She's moving back in with him and bringing her dogs. She has always loved him. Miley and Liam are picking up right where they left off."

While neither Cyrus nor Hemsworth, 26, have confirmed the engagement, Cyrus has posted several photos on Instagram of herself wearing the ring.

"The ring is special because Miley and Liam worked on it together," a source shared with E! News after confirming they are officially engaged again. "Miley specifically wanted it set in gold. She didn't want platinum. She liked the gold because it was different and unique, like her. She didn't want anything classic or generic."

The two first met on the set of the 2009 film "The Last Song" and were engaged in 2012 before calling it off in September 2013.
