The San Diego Chargers finished the 2015 regular season tied for the second worst record in the NFL at 4-12 and currently sit with the third pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Chargers are reportedly interested in Ohio State defensive lineman Joey Bosa, but NFL Films Senior Producer Greg Cosell believes the Chargers should take Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil if he is still on the board.

"Since I've started doing college (evaluations), 10-12 years, he's as good an offensive tackle prospect as I've seen come out," said Cosell, via the Mighty 1090 AM in San Diego. "He's a way better prospect than any of the guys in recent years, the Greg Robinsons, the Luke Joeckels, the Jake Matthews (types), the Lane Johnsons. This kid is a way better prospect, and if he's there at three, you have to take Laremy Tunsil. If he is there at three, my card would be up in a about a second."

Tunsil has received high praise by most draft analysts, and NFL Media analysts Lance Zierlen suggested that the Rebel offensive tackle could be a Pro Bowler in his rookie season. Tunsil was suspended for the first half of his junior season as the university and the NCAA conducted an investigation regarding allegations that he violated NCAA rules. Reports have recently surfaced that Tunsil was involved in five NCAA violations, but it's not expected to affect his draft stock, as teams know he can become a cornerstone offensive tackle at the next level.

The Titans sit with the top pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and reportedly view Tunsil as their backup plan for the first pick. Tennessee reportedly wants to trade down within the top 10 picks to draft a defensive back, but if a trade can't be made they are targeting Tunsil with the top pick.

The Chargers have plenty of issues to fix this offseason as they struggled on both sides of the ball in 2015. It's unclear if Tunsil will even be on the board by the third pick, but San Diego may look to grab him if he's there, as many view him as a rare talent that will produce immediately at the next level.
