WARNING: The following contains spoilers for AMC's "The Walking Dead."

Fox Russia has accidentally spoiled a major plot point for the second half of Season 6 of AMC's "The Walking Dead." Thanks to its mid-season premiere promo trailer, we now know for sure that the show is going to closely adopt a key storyline from the original comics.

Late last summer, set photos of Carl (Chandler Riggs) with a bandaged eye made the rounds, though the context of his injury were unknown at the time. In the comics, Carl is shot in the face and loses an eye during a pivotal scene, but many believed the CGI and makeup costs would be too much for AMC to borrow this plot line. However, Fox Russia has confirmed this rumor with its mid-season premiere trailer. Check out the screen shot below.

Of course, the image is spreading across the Internet like a zombie virus. Riggs himself has taken to Twitter to express his displeasure with those that are sharing the photo and spoiling the surprise for other fans.

The injury in question should take place during the mid-season premiere, according to The Spoiling Dead Fans. When last we saw our heroes, they were making their way through a horde of hungry walkers when Sam inexplicably started talking and drawing attention to himself and the others. This will likely lead to an attack and perhaps result in Carl's injury.

Thanks, Fox Russia, for the head's up. Way to keep your eye on the prize...

"The Walking Dead" will return to AMC for the second half of Season 6 this Sunday.
