Gamers who purchased the PlayStation 4 will have another software update available as of Nov. 20.

Sony Computer Entertainment released the following statement about the software download:

"Later today, the next system software update for PlayStation 4 (version 1.51) will be available. With this minor required update, stability of system software has been improved. In addition, minor refinements to elements of the system UI (such as clearly indicating when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time) have been introduced.

"In the North American region, automatic downloads for system and game updates are enabled by default when PS4 is in stand-by mode. Once system software update 1.51 is available later tonight, your PS4 will automatically download it, enabling you to update quickly and easily."

Sony officially launched the PS4 on Nov. 15, which led to multiple reports of complaints about the new system.  Some gamers were complaining about receiving "dead" PS4 consoles that would flash a blue light instead of turning on.  Others reported glitches in the system software update, including the game developers at Electronic Arts.

"Sony has released a firmware update for the PlayStation 4 that is required for many features on the console. However, this update also results in stability issues while playing games on the system. This affects all games on the PS4, including EA titles, causing crashing/freezing and non-responsive connections between the player's console and their TV Screen," EA explained on the "Help" section of their website.

The firmware update was the cause of EA games' glitches, which are allegedly the most popular games tied to the console, according to EA's COO Peter Moore.

"Gamers are speaking...our week 1 estimates show that 1 of every 3 #PS4 games sold is an @EA game! #FIFA14 #Madden25 #BF4 #NeedforSpeed," Moore posted on his official Twitter account.
