Larry David channeled Bernie Sanders last night when he hosted "Saturday Night Live," combining his spot-on impression of the Democratic presidential candidate along with his HBO show "Curb Your Enthusiasm" for a parody called "Bern Your Enthusiasm."

The sketch saw David as Sanders alienate a voter played by Leslie Jones in a classic "Curb Your Enthusiasm" type of way. After a rally for Sanders, the Vermont senator refused to shake Jones' hand after she coughed in it. Back at Sander's campaign office, he came under fire from his staffers who all had a strong resemblance to the cast of characters on David's show. Cecily Strong took on the role of Susie, Bobby Moynihan was Jeff while Jay Pharoah took on the role of J.B. Smooth's character Leon.

"I heard you didn't want to shake a black woman's hand," Leon told Sanders. "Listen, you need the black vote Bernie. You need to shake as many black women's hands as you can. I don't care if the hand has dookie on it. You shake that hand. You know why? You might get dookie on your hand, but you know what else you'll get? A damn vote."

Later in the sketch, Sanders refused to help one of his supporters pop her shoulder back into place after she got into a car accident.

"Go to a hospital. I don't pop, I'm not a popper," David said as Sanders. "I'm from Brooklyn, we don't pop in Brooklyn!"

In the end, his refusal to shake the hand of Jones and to not pop the shoulder of the lady back into place cost him to lose the Iowa cacus to Hillary Clinton by a razor thin margin of 0.2 percent.
