Over the weekend "Saturday Night Live" poked fun at the recent controversy that is plaguing the 2016 Oscars, the lack of diversity in the acting categories. A sketch called "Screen Guild Awards" depicted a list of nominated white actors who had inessential and miniscule roles in films, but were still awarded over African-American actors who had more substantial parts.

"There were so many great performances this year, it's a shame we couldn't nominate more," Cecily Strong announced in the sketch. "But I think we can all agree that these are the best of the best."

The sketch started off as cast member Strong read off the nominees for the Best Actor category. The category began with Taran Killam's boxing coach in a "Creed" type of film, but the white actors nominated started to get more and more ridiculous. Bobby Moynihan's character in the sketch was nominated for the wordless role of "White Man With Camera" to newcomer Jon Rudnitsky's performance as "unseen voice on phone."

At the end of the sketch, it was time to pick the winner for Best Actor at the "Screen Guild Awards." In a not so shocking twist, the award went to "all the white guys," as Strong read from the card.
