Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young has been arrested in Los Angeles for assault with a deadly weapon, according to TMZ Sports.

Young has reportedly been charged with felony battery with serious bodily injury after allegedly beating up a guy in a street fight. The former NFL wide receiver was already serving five years probation after pleading no contest to a felony battery charge last May, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

If convicted, Young could serve up to four years for battery, and possibly an additional five years due to his prior arrests. The former second round draft pick has consistently found himself in trouble with the law, and it's very likely that he will serve jail time after this arrest.

Young was arrested three times in one week in 2013 for a DUI, burglary, and for attempting to steal his own car from an impound lot, according to TMZ Sports. He was also arrested in July 2014, which would lead to his no contest plea and five-year probation in May 2015.

In two seasons with the Lions, Young recorded 81 receptions for 990 yards and scored 10 touchdowns. The former Boise State star wide receiver was expected to be a big playmaker in the league, but his off-field actions ended the his NFL career early.
