Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has been in the spotlight ever since his freshman year at Texas A&M in which he won the Heisman Trophy. The former first round NFL draft pick is still in the spotlight after two seasons in the NFL, but not for his play on the field, as the Dallas Police Department is currently investigating him for a domestic violence claim.

Manziel's agent has since dropped his client, and his family is concerned for his health and safety. The Browns quarterback has been given encouragement from both current and former players around the league who are willing to help the troubled young quarterback, but he has recently just received words of encouragement from someone who's used to controversial headlines in actor Charlie Sheen.

Sheen used his social media account to post a message to Manziel, telling him to refocus his energy on health and football. Sheen went on to tell Manziel that it's never too late for a fresh start.

The Browns quarterback is reportedly expected to be released in March and is also under investigation from the league regarding the alleged domestic violence incident. It's unclear what Manziel's future holds for him in the NFL, but the talented quarterback will likely have to take care of his life off the field before he is given another opportunity with an NFL franchise.
