Australia bounced back with a thrilling victory in the second ODI after losing the opening match of the three-match series.

The visitors beat the Black Caps by four wickets with the help of David Warners' 98 and Mitchell Marsh's unbeaten 69 knocks, according to ABC News. The series is now leveled 1-1.

"It was just a great partnership with Johnny Hastings. Obviously we were in a bit of strife there. The way we batted together was extremely satisfying. We came here today to get back in the series and we've done that now. Hopefully that will give us great momentum going into Monday," Marsh said after winning the second ODI, according to Fox Sports.

New Zealand is hosting Australia for the three-match ODI series and two Test series from Feb. 3 to Feb. 24. Both sides are willing to utilize the ODI series as a preparation for the upcoming Twenty20 (T20) World Cup.
